A long time ago in one house a child name Rashid Minhaz born. He born on 17 February 1951. From his childhood, he likes to fly an airplane. He makes the paper airplanes and fly them. One day his dream to fly an airplane has fulfilled. He goes to the air force academy for the training. Whenever he looks airplane, he thinks that he is flying the airplane. One Bangladeshi man Matiu Rehman make plans to steal the airplane. The day when the result was coming to Rashid Minhaz was very confused. When the result has come he looks that there is his name. He has to fly the airplane at 7:30. But he sat on the airplane at 7:15. The Bangladeshi man Matiu Rehman stand under the airplane. He takes a napkin and drop a miserable medicine, and mix it on the napkin. He then take permission from Rashid Minhaz and then he gave permission to Matiu Rehman When he went upstairs he smelled napkin to Rashid Minhaz and unconscious him. Then he turns the face of the airplane to India and the airplane flew on 7:30. When Rashid Minhaz woke up he looks that Matiu Rehman was flying the airplane. He thought about how to stop it. Then he said, “he afraid from death but I am not”. Then he moves the gear and blasts the airplane at 7:34 on 20 August 1971. Then he awarded Nishan-e- Haider.   

راشد منہاز (شہید)

بہت عرصہ پہلے ایک گھر میں ایک بچہ راشد منہاز پیدا ہوا۔ وہ 17 فروری 1951کو پیدا ہوے۔اس کو بچپن سے ہی جہاز چلانے کا شوق تھا۔ وہ کاغذ کے جہاز بناتے اور اڑاتے۔ ایک دن ان کا جہاز چلانے کا خواب پورا ہو گیا۔ وہ جہاز چلانے کی ٹرینگ لینے کے لیے یونیورسٹی گئے جس کا نام ائیرفورس اکیڈمی تھا۔ ان کو جب بھی جہاز اڑتا ہوا نظر آتا وہ خیال میں گم ہو جاتے کہ میں بھی ایسے ہی  جہاز چلاؤ گا۔ ایک  بنگلادیشی لڑکا مطیع الرحمان جو جہاز چرانا چاہتا تھا جہاز چرانے کے لیے پلان بنا رہا تھا۔ ایک دن جب راشد منہاز  کا رزلت تھا تو راشد منہاز بڑے پریشان تھے۔ انھوں نے اپنا نام لسٹ میں دیکھا۔ انھوں نے جہاز سات بج کے تیس منٹ پہ  چلانا تھا مگر وہ پندرہ منٹ پہلےجہازمیں جا کہ بیٹھ گئے۔ مطیع الرحمان  جہاز کے نیچے جا کہ کھڑا ہو گیا۔ اس نے ایک رمال میں بیھوشی کی دوائی ڈالی اور راشد منہاز سے کہا "کیا میں اوپر آسکتا ہوں۔"   راشد منہاز نے اس کو اجازت دی اور جاتے ساتھ ہی مطیع الرحمان نے وہ رمال راشد منہاز کو سنگھا دیا اور ان کو بیھوش کر دیا۔ اس نے جہاز کا منہ بھارت کی طرف کر دیا۔ اور جہاز سات بج کے پچس منٹ پہ روانہ ہو گیا۔ راشد منہاز کو جب ہوش آیا تو ان میں ہمت نہ رہی اور انہوں نے سوچا کہ جہاز کو کیسے روکوں  انھوں نے سوچا کہ "آج مجھے اس جہاز کو بچانا ہے ،وہ موت سے ڈرتا ہے لیکن میں نہیں "اور انہوں نے جہاز کو تباہ کرنے والا گیر کھینچا بج کےچونتیس منٹ پہ تباہ ہو گیا۔ وہ 20 اگست 1971 کو وفات پا گئے۔ بعد میں ان کو نشان حیدر کا انعام بھی ملا۔
