What is the computer:

The computer is an important invention. It is an electronic device in which there are many apps. It is running throughout the world and the most important thing it has an internet connection.

First computers:

The first computer was invented in 1622 by William Oughtred but the father of computer is known as Charles Babbage. Charles Babbage invented punch cards.

Generations of computer:

The first generation is of vacuum Tubes from 1940-1956. The second generation is transistors 1956-1963. Third generation Integrated Circuits 1964-1971. Fourth generation Microprocessors 1971-present. Fifth generation Robots in the future.

  

Software and Apps:

It has different software like Adobe, Animation, entertainment, educational, Graphic software etc. Entertainment software use to educate, entertainment software use to entertain the users, graphics software used to draw pictures. Its apps are MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Paint, Chrome, YouTube etc. Powerpoint use to create presentations, Paint is like the graphics software which use to draw things, YouTube is to search for videos etc.

Parts of a computer:

There are many parts of a computer like Operating system, keyboard, screen etc. The operating system is like a soul of the computer. There are two types of software and hardware. Software means things which we can’t touch. Hardware things that we can touch. It also has input and output devices. Input includes the mouse, keyboard etc. Output includes screen, speaker etc.

Disadvantages:

There are also disadvantages of computer like eyesight’s weak, didn’t do the study, didn’t take interest in outdoor activities.

Today:

Now computers are known as Laptop. Now computers are more reliable and fast.
